How to play Party Qs on the web

It’s super simple.

  1. Open any internet browser like Chrome, Safari, or Edge

  2. Go to app.partyqs.com. You’re done!

This will open the main menu of the Party Qs app, where you can select any category you want to play or click “Shuffle” to immediately start swiping through all the Party Qs conversation starter questions.

What’s different in the Party Qs web version?

The Party Qs web app has several changes from the mobile app version that makes it more compatible with a web browser and an overall better user experience.

Here’s what’s new in the Party Qs web version:

  1. Navigation arrows — you can still “swipe” through questions in the Party Qs web app by clicking and dragging to “turn” the page, but there are also now arrows are the bottom of the screen to go forward and back through questions.

  2. Copy-to-clipboard questions — you can now click to copy the text of any question to quickly share it. This feature replaces the “Share” feature in the mobile app to make it easier and faster to share great questions with coworkers, couples, friends, and family members in your favorite messaging app.

  3. Light mode! You can toggle between light mode and dark mode in the app by opening the side menu and clicking “Toggle theme.”

  4. Responsive design — the Party Qs web version dynamically adjusts to fit whatever window size you want it to be in. If you’re on a desktop computer, our recommendation is a narrower window so that it fits alongside a Zoom call or messaging app, making it easy to share questions with people.

  5. Our new mascot, Query! Open “Tips” in the side menu to meet Query the turtle. She personifies awkward silences, as you’ll never see her come out of her shell. But Party Qs has helped her overcome her anxiety and connect with old and new friends through great conversations!

Query is Party Qs new mascot! She personifies awkward silences, as you’ll never see her come out of her shell. But Party Qs has helped her overcome her anxiety and connect with old and new friends through great conversations!

Important: You’ll notice that the paid question categories and the option to “unlock all” is not available in the web version (yet). Instead anytime you open a paid category, you’ll have the option to download the Party Qs app on your phone using the buttons at the bottom of the screen. You can unlock any paid category in the mobile. More updates coming soon on this!

5 new ways to play Party Qs using the web app version

  1. Share an icebreaker in a video call with teammates. Does your company use video conferencing tools like Zoom or Teams for work? Try starting off your next team meeting with an icebreaker from Party Qs to get to know your teammates better. Simply open the Party Qs web app in another window to get started. Party Qs questions are all family-friendly and professional. It’s a great way to mix in conversations about non-work topics. Also, try the Party Qs category — “Work From Home”!

  2. Ask a question to engage your online community. A great question can really get community members engaged in a conversation together, but it’s not always easy to find good questions. Now you can open Party Qs in a new tab and copy and paste a question in seconds. It will save you loads of time searching online for a good question.

  3. Get inspiration for an interview or podcast. Looking to ask a guest interesting questions? Browse through Party Qs on the web — you could even conduct an interview using only Party Qs. That would be fun.

  4. Send Party Qs to friends in a messaging app like WhatsApp, iMessage, or Messenger. Keeping in better touch with friends or family members is a challenge, but a good question can help continue to build relationships and bring loved ones closer no matter how far apart you may be.

  5. Put a Party Qs on a display screen in your building, shop, or event. Using an iPad or internet-connected TV, you can open a web browser and put on app.partyqs.com to give anyone who walks into your establishment something interesting to think about, talk about, and probably smile about. Perfect for coffee shops and workplaces, Party Qs keeps things fresh with the people you see daily.
